The Game of Logging (GOL) is widely acknowledged as the premier chainsaw safety and productivity training program in the country, offering hands on chainsaw safety training in a competitive environment. Combines demonstration with participation to teach chainsaw safety, productivity, conservation and cutting techniques.
How to Dress: Dress to be OUTSIDE – All Day!
Class will not be canceled due to weather, so plan accordingly.
What to Bring: If you have them, bring your chainsaw, chaps, hardhat, and eye & ear protection. Equipment will be available for those who need it.
Lunch: Lunch is “on your own”! Bring a lunch.
We will not be leaving the site.
Other: Depending on the weather, you may want to bring water, bug spray, rain gear, etc.
Level 1 & 2 begin with a “tailgate session,” please bring a lawn chair.
